May 2027 — the Snake month
for all twelve signs

Saju counts months from one solar term to the next, so this month begins at 02:25 on May 6 and ends on Jun 5. Each sign below is read two ways: how the Snake branch meets the sign’s own branch, and how the month’s Wood meets the sign’s element. The best and care days are the days in the month whose day pillar harmonizes or clashes with the sign, computed from the sixty-day cycle.

For the ten Day Masters

Your animal sign is one character of eight. The stem of the month, Yin Wood, meets each Day Master as one of the Ten Gods, and that relationship sets the month’s theme more precisely than the animal does. Don’t know your Day Master? Your birth date is enough.

• Yang Wood (The Tall Pine) — Rob Wealth: a competitive month — drive rises and so does shared spending; avoid lending.
• Yin Wood (The Winding Vine) — Friend: a month of standing on your own — peers gather and independence works; keep money matters separate.
• Yang Fire (The Midday Sun) — Direct Resource: support and green lights — approvals, mentors and documents; ask for help and it tends to arrive.
• Yin Fire (The Candle Flame) — Indirect Resource: deep, unusual insight — study and research pull you in; don’t postpone the one decision that matters.
• Yang Earth (The Great Mountain) — Direct Officer: structure favors you — applications, reviews and formal steps go well if you follow the rules.
• Yin Earth (The Fertile Field) — Seven Killings: pressure and proving — demands land on you; meet them squarely and protect your rest.
• Yang Metal (The Raw Blade) — Direct Wealth: steady gains — routine work pays, promises hold, and it is a fair month for sensible signatures.
• Yin Metal (The Polished Gem) — Indirect Wealth: opportunity and spending both swell — decide the budget before the month decides it for you.
• Yang Water (The Open Sea) — Hurting Officer: a month of sharp expression — good for pitching and persuading, careful around authority.
• Yin Water (The Morning Dew) — Eating God: a month of ease and output — make, cook, write, show, and enjoy without overdoing it.

FAQ

When does the Snake month of 2027 begin and end?

It runs from Thursday, May 6, 2027 at 02:25 Korea time, the solar term that opens it, to Saturday, June 5, 2027; the next month begins on Jun 6 at 06:26. Saju months follow the solar terms, not the calendar, which is why the Snake month straddles May and June.

Which zodiac signs have the best May 2027?

the Ox, the Horse, the Goat, the Monkey and the Rooster — their branches form a harmony with the Snake. The Tiger, the Dog and the Pig meet more friction and should take the month steadily. The rest have no fixed link and read the month by its element, Wood.

What is the month pillar for May 2027?

乙巳 — Yi Si, Yin Wood over the Snake. The stem, Yin Wood, sets the month’s tone; the branch, the Snake, decides how each sign meets it. It sits inside the 丁未 year.

Is a monthly horoscope by zodiac sign the same as a saju reading?

No. Your animal sign is one of eight characters in a saju chart, so this page reads one character against the month. A personal reading starts from your Day Master, the stem of your birth day; cast your chart and today’s reading compares each day with all of it.
